I am a researcher in molecular epidemiology, biostatistics and data science applied to the study of neurodegenerative diseases, ageing, brain health and the connection between systemic health and the brain. My research focuses on the development and application of statistical and computational methodologies to integrate multi-omic, exposome, neuroimaging and clinical data with the aim of identifying the biological mechanisms involved in ageing and dementia.

I currently lead the Molecular Epidemiology and Data Science group at Utrecht University and the Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center.
