The Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center is composed of a multidisciplinary team of researchers, and operational and research support staff. The BBRC has a Board of Trustees formed by representatives of institutions linked to research, teaching, biomedicine and law, and a Scientific Advisory Board, composed of renowned researchers in the field of Alzheimer’s and neurodegenerative diseases.
The Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center (BBRC) is the research center of the Pasqual Maragall Foundation. It was created in 2012 with the support of Pompeu Fabra University. Its flagship project, the ALFA cohort, is supported by the “la Caixa” Foundation. The board of the center ismade up of representatives of both entities and other institutions.
