The Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center hosts four research facilities: the Research Data Infrastructure & Services (RDIS), led by David Fusté, which supports the entire scientific infrastructure of the BBRC, providing reliable data environments and advanced analytical services for high‑quality, reproducible research. The Neuroimaging Facility, led by Dr David Vállez, acquires and analyses brain images (MRI, PET), standardises protocols, and supports clinical and translational projects by integrating neuroimaging with molecular biomarkers and cognitive data. The Clinical Operations Facility, led by Anna Soteras, ensures the rigorous execution of clinical activities, trials and cohorts, guaranteeing quality, regulatory compliance and strategic support. The Fluid Biomarkers Facility, led by Dr Marta del Campo and scientifically advised by Dr Marc Suárez‑Calvet, processes blood and cerebrospinal fluid samples, identifies and validates biomarkers, and supports clinical trials and cohort studies.

These facilities aim to increase efficiency in data collection and exploitation for research projects, particularly the ALFA Study, and to incorporate new technologies in Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative disease research.
