Dr. David Vállez García leads the BBRC’s neuroimaging platform. With a bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from the Univesity of Alcalá, Spain (2002), he obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands (2015), with the completion of a thesis titled “PET Imaging of Mild Traumatic Brain Injury and Whiplash Associated Disorder”.
David Vállez García’s research mainly focuses on quantitative PET/CT ad PET/MRI neuroimaging, from pre-clinical studies to clinical trials. He has a special interest in PET pharmacokinetic modeling and advanced statistical analyses.
As head of the BBRC Neuroimaging Platform, he leads and coordinates the technical and research team, in coordination with the neuroimaging research group.
