Head of Strategic Programs
Context
The Pasqual Maragall Foundation (FPM) and the Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center (BBRC) are looking to recruit a Head of Strategic Programs, a position transversal to both institutions, designed to operate at the center of strategy and execution.
In the current context of growth and transformation, organizations are at a stage of institutional maturity that requires greater execution capacity, inter-organizational coordination, and functional delegation. Multiple initiatives and strategic priorities are progressing in parallel and require structured alignment, monitoring, and disciplined execution.
The objective of the position is to help fulfill the strategic priorities of the Pasqual Maragall Foundation and the BBRC with clarity, pace and consistency, supporting the planning, coordination, execution and performance monitoring throughout the organization.
The position heads the CEO's office and provides close and trusted support to the CEO, Deputy CEO, and Manager. It acts as the senior point of coordination across both institutions, ensuring alignment between strategy and execution.
The role includes coordinating cross-functional initiatives, monitoring delivery, preparing high-quality materials for decision-making, aligning teams, and providing visibility into risks, dependencies, and deviations to ensure that execution remains consistent, accountable, and traceable.
We are looking for a high-potential professional with strategic thinking, sound judgment, excellent written communication skills, synthesis and information management, collaborative leadership, and the ability to influence all functions and hierarchical levels.
This position is conceived as the starting point of a structured professional path towards the Management of the Strategy Department, based on performance, organizational needs and preparation.
