Dr. David Rotllant, new Interim Deputy Director of the Scientific Coordination Unit of the BBRC

Dr. David Rotllant has been appointed Interim Deputy Director of the Scientific Coordination Unit (SCU) of the Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center (BBRC). Until now, David held the position of Scientific Project Manager in the organisation, where he has provided outstanding leadership and key experience in numerous strategic projects.

With a degree in Biology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a PhD in Neuroscience, Dr. Rotllant's professional career encompasses a broad background in basic and applied neuroscience, as well as outstanding experience as a Project Leader in the biotechnology industry. This combination of knowledge and skills reinforces the BBRC's commitment to excellence in research and scientific coordination.

About the Scientific Coordination Unit

The Scientific Coordination Unit manages the research groups and platforms, as well as the Research Infrastructures Unit of the centre. Its main objective is to guarantee the efficient operation of the different units of the BBRC, supervise the execution of projects and ensure the scientific, logistical and economic integrity of the centre's activities.
