The position of Associated Researcher at the Barcelona Institute of Global Health (ISGlobal) is granted to researchers with a professional activity in public health, clinical practice and/or education related to global health, after evaluation by a committee scientist based on the merits of the researchers in the last five years. Dr. Eider Arenaza-Urquijo, a researcher at the Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center (BBRC), has been appointed Associated Researcher in the NCDs and Environment program to study the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on mental health . The scientific committee has assessed the publications, current projects and participation in clinical guidelines of Dr. Arenaza-Urquijo, who is currently considered the first expert at a state level and third at a European level, taking as a scale her publications on cognitive reserve.
