Under the title 'Preserve your brain: the importance of lifestyle and mental health', Dr. Eider Arenaza-Urquijo, a researcher at the Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center (BBRC), gave a talk on May 29 at the 15th edition of the Science Festival. By modifying some factors such as physical and cognitive activity and stress, the researcher explained, we can keep the brain healthy and more resilient to neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's.

The event, presented by Joaquim Frígola Casals, had the collaboration of the Catalan Association for Scientific Communication (ACCC). This year, the Science Festival has taken place for the first time in the Raval neighborhood of Barcelona and has hosted more than 200 activities related to science and dissemination in 27 different spaces.
