The Neuroimaging Platform supports the execution of research projects involving the acquisition, management, and processing of brain images using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Its team is in charge of optimizing MRI sequences, maintaining equipment, and ensuring image quality.

The facility is equipped with a Philips Ingenia 3.0T CX MRI scanner exclusively dedicated to research, with scientific and technical support from Philips. The platform is optimized for imaging large cohorts and is open to the research community. Besides serving the Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center’s research projects, it is accessible to external research endeavors, as well as national and international clinical trials.
