BBRC presents more than 20 studies at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference 2020

Researchers from the Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center (BBRC) presented 3 featured research sessions, 4 oral presentations and 16 scientific posters at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference - AAIC 2020. This event is the world’s largest gathering of researchers from around the world focused on Alzheimer’s and other dementias, and was held entirely virtual and free of charge, from July 27 to 31.

BBRC’s presentations and posters can be viewed on the congress platform until August 30, 2020, or September 30 in the case of ISTAART members. In this program you can explore the titles of all the works presented by BBRC researchers, as well as their more than 20 external collaborations.

The director of the BBRC Alzheimer's Prevention Program, Dr. José Luis Molinuevo, is a member of the congress committee, and participated in meetings of the Global Biomarkers Standardization Consortium (GBSC), the WW-FINGERS initiative, and the editorial board of the scientific journal Alzheimer's & Dementia. He also chaired the symposium ‘The Early Diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease: Readying the Health System’, sponsored by Biogen.

The virtual conference attracted all-time high numbers of registered attendees, with more than 31,000 visitors from all over the world interested in Alzheimer's and dementia research.
