Dr. Marc Suárez delivers plenary session at AAIC Neuroscience Next 2026

Dr. Marc Suárez-Calvet, Group Leader at the Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center (BBRC), delivered a plenary session at AAIC Neuroscience Next 2026, the global hybrid conference organized by the Alzheimer’s Association to showcase emerging advances in Alzheimer’s and dementia research.

On 26 February, Dr. Suárez-Calvet presented the plenary session “Global Perspectives: Biomarker Advancements in Dementia Diagnosis”, offering an in-depth overview of the latest progress in fluid and imaging biomarkers and their potential to transform early detection and clinical decision making worldwide. His talk emphasized the importance of harmonizing biomarker strategies across regions, improving accessibility in low  and middle income countries, and strengthening international collaborations to accelerate the adoption of precision diagnostic tools.

AAIC Neuroscience Next, held 23–26 February 2026, is a no cost, global hybrid conference designed to support and highlight the next generation of Alzheimer’s and dementia researchers. The program connects scientific hubs across continents and provides a platform for sharing cutting edge findings, fostering networking opportunities, and promoting equitable access to scientific knowledge.
