The former director of the BBRC's Alzheimer's Prevention Program, Dr. José Luis Molinuevo, has been named an honorary member and scientific consultant of the BBRC. The signed agreement will allow the BBRC Management to count occasionally on his experience and knowledge to make certain strategic decisions to promote research in the field of Alzheimer's and other neurodegenerative diseases.
Dr. Molinuevo is the co-author of more than 350 articles with more than 19,000 citations in prestigious scientific journals and an h index of 68. He has also actively participated in international working networks related to the standardization of procedures and clinical criteria for Alzheimer's disease, such as the Alzheimer Biomarker Standardization Initiative, the International Working Group, the National Institute on Aging and Alzheimer's Association (NIA-AA) Research framework, the CSF Appropriate Use Criteria Workgroup, the Standardization of CSF Preanalytics Working Group and the Subjective Cognitive Decline Initiative (SCD- I) Working Group.
